The Real Estate Broker is an important position in any Real Estate brokerage. By attracting, interacting with, and networking with both buyers and sellers, Real Estate Brokers facilitate smooth and pleasant housing transactions. A Real Estate Broker needs to be customer service oriented, have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be proactive, be independent thinking, be trustworthy, and have the ability to work under pressure. Experience with sales, customer service, networking and marketing are preferred.
The ideal Real Estate Broker will be teachable, self-motivated, and creative.

Real Estate Brokers are unique in how they are paid. As a Broker, your
compensation is tied directly to performance. The more transactions you
facilitate, the more compensation you will earn. This puts you in control of
your earning potential. You will be an independent contractor responsible for your own taxes, etc.

As a Broker, you will…
*Meet with clients to discuss their home purchase and sale needs
*Take clients to home showings
*Network with customers via phone, email, in-person and through social media
*Educate clients on the state of the real estate market by staying informed through local realtor associations and/or the national association of realtors
*Distribute information concerning buying and selling real estate
*Answer questions about contracts and terms of sale
*Utilize computer technology to manage a database of customers and prospects to follow up and interact regularly
*Assist potential clients with financial decisions concerning real estate
*Represent and advise clients during sales and purchase negotiations
*Resolve conflicts that arise during the purchase or sale of real estate property
*Network with other Real Estate Brokers to create teamwork and positive
relationships.
*Creatively market yourself as a Real Estate Broker and come up with marketing strategies to market homes for sale.
